We are very proud to share all the things that Drakey does & learns in his 3 AMs at school....He says his name & all the letters, knows his last name & that it starts with W, knows the first letter in all his classmates names, his brother, cousin & our names, all his colors& shapes, what colors blend to make new colors, knows how to use scissors, traces his name, does tons of art, goes to a brief church time weekly, etc....His teacher & aide are both super sweet & dedicated to Drake's learning & developing. The pre-K program that he will start after he turns 4 is much more academic & we look forward to that, as our neighborhood school is also quite academic, too.
This weekend was of course special with the Wards, especially time with dad/grandpa & celebrating Baby Peter's 1st birthday! Saturday was very cold at the party, but was nice to see what a big boy he has become & see Meave's family. Peter is so happy & all 3 boys do look like family, with the Ward looks. Sunday, we got to enjoy time with Aunt Val, GG, Uncle Joe & Aunt Carol, Drakey got a scooter ride with grandpa, & Mom, Drake & I went to Mom's church, where the service bulletin, mentioned dad to pray for! Grandma & Drakey enjoyed a neighborhood park together, while Deric took a long jog & I watched Tv with dad. Sunday night D, mom & I enjoyed a bottle of wine together, with mom's home-made tacos--Deric spilled his chicken into his wine glass & still drank it! Monday, Uncle Andy, Auntie M & Baby P joined us on Monday morning, after I slept in a bit! We ate "Little Mexican" a yummy non diet/cheat lunch together, and another trip to the park for Uncle A, Auntie M, Grandma, & Peter & Drake in Peter's bday wagon! I look forward to more grandpa/dad time in 3 weeks! Continue to pray for the Wards, that dad gets one more day, one more week or month of use of his legs & decent breathing.
