Memorial Day weekend in Napa
Drake's Preschool Open House- 5/22
We are very proud to share all the things that Drakey does & learns in his 3 AMs at school....He says his name & all the letters, knows his last name & that it starts with W, knows the first letter in all his classmates names, his brother, cousin & our names, all his colors& shapes, what colors blend to make new colors, knows how to use scissors, traces his name, does tons of art, goes to a brief church time weekly, etc....His teacher & aide are both super sweet & dedicated to Drake's learning & developing. The pre-K program that he will start after he turns 4 is much more academic & we look forward to that, as our neighborhood school is also quite academic, too.

Mothers Day Fun!
We celebrated & relaxed all weekend. Friday night Deric & I enjoyed a 4 hour chat & a whole bottle of wine...haven't stayed up til 2AM forever- ha! Saturday late AM, Deric & Logi went down for what turned into a 2 1/2 hour nap, so Drakey & I had a mommy-son adventure that included a trip to Pony Adventure ( 2 pony rides, went into petting zoo area & 2 feeding cones for the goats), chicken star meal for lunch & chocolate ice cream with gummy bears for dessert! FUN FUN! That 3 boys suprised me with a mommy pampering after that, of a massage & foot and hand treatments...AHHHHH...so nice! That evening Drakey's sitter came over & Deric & I enjoyed a late Cinco De Mayo/Early Mommy Day dinner date at El Torito(with a sleeping Logan)--YUMMY!
On Sunday, Mothers Day he hit Disneyland, all Morning & afternoon. I concluded the relaxation with a bath on Sunday late afternoon! They also got me a LAMB(Gwen Steffani) purse!

Drake started summer swim lessons!
On Tues & Thurs AMs, started 5/5, Logan & I have been enjoying Drake at his lesson. I was very surprised that he remembered what he'd learned the past 3 summers about water safety, kicking, floating & using big arms. He has a very child-friendly teacher for his class of him & one girl of similar age, who is not nearly as fear free of the water! Just like last summer d loves to sit in the "hot pool" spa after his lesson. We will continue taking the lessons through at least August!
