June 11th- Drake's Horse Themed B-day Party
We had orange balloons, horse balloons, a gigantic horse pinata, horse goodie bags, face painting, horse backpacks to decorate, horse candles, make your own sundae bar & so many friends & family!! It was a super hot day, but Drake had a blast with his 12 friends, 6 babies & 25 adults to party with! We were thrilled that my mom, bro, nephew, sis in law, Deric's parents, his bro & sis & my aunt all traveled to be there! It was a super fun afternoon!
Napa Trip Part 2
So for obvious reaasons this trip was not very happy, but the Wards are a great team & we shared lots of great stories about dad, we laughed, we cried & we missed him dearly. In the spirit of what dad had made me promise, before he died, we tried to still have good times in the week & half we were there-- celebrated Andrew's 36th bday at Mary's Pizza with friends, took walks, ate tons of food, drank wine, took boys to local park, swam twice in a beautiful heated pool, and just had lots of family closeness time!
